With additional support from STEP (Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership), we continued efforts to pursue our humanitarian objectives. We met and discussed further opportunities with key personnel from the United Nations World Food Program in Rome.
The meetings were a huge success and we have now developed a platform from which to move forward and continue our efforts to provide low cost nutrition solutions for individuals suffering from malnutrition.
The Ethiopian trade mission was a further extension of this program and we met with key country directors to establish the requirements of Ethiopia. Meetings were also held with government ministries, aid agencies, trade commissioners and ambassadors.
On a commercial front we met with private sector companies that were delighted to sample our product and were blown away with it's taste and consistency qualities. The trade mission provided the opportunity for us to establish these commercial leads and we look forward to developing a successful business in Ethiopia.
